JumperScience-fiction film Jumper has leaped to the top of the box office chart, beating out competition from dance movie Step Up 2 The Streets. "Jumper," which stars Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson, debuted at number one with takings of $27.2 million over the weekend.

"Step Up 2 The Streets" is another new entry at two with $19.7 million, while The Spiderwick Chronicles opens at three with $19.1 million.

Fool's Gold drops three places to four with $13.1 million, while romantic comedy Definitely, Maybe took advantage of the Valentine's Day weekend to debut at five with $9.7 million.
