Pop stars the Jonas Brothers are considering snubbing a contract with industry giants EMI - because big name acts have already left the crisis-stricken record label.
EMI were bought out last year by capital group Terra Firma and the label has since seen the exit of a host of important artists including Radiohead, The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney.
And now The Jonas Brothers' label Disney has expressed concerns over EMI's ability to market their new album and could strip the company of its global distribution rights.
Disney's profitable international rights, which also include both the Hannah Montana and High School Musical franchises, could now be awarded to Universal Music Group, reports Rolling Stone.
