Singers Anne Murray and Jill Barber have been snubbed by the Juno Canadian Music Awards after a logistical blunder saw them left off the nominations list.
The mistakes were discovered during an internal review of the categories - but organizers have tried to make amends by adding Murray's disc Duets: Friends And Legends to the album of the year category.
Folk singer Barber will now be added as a new artist of the year nominee. In another blunder, Juno bosses have had to remove hip-hop artist Classified from the nominations list because his album Fall From Paradise was entered last year.
These mistakes are nothing new for the Juno Awards - four years ago Nickelback's The Long Road was added as an album of the year nominee at the last minute after a "data entry error" was discovered.
The ceremony takes place on April 6 in Calgary.
