Ashley Judd refuses to worry about the possibility of her racing driver husband Dario Franchitti sustaining a serious injury in a car crash. The star was present when Franchitti was almost killed when his car went airborne and somersaulted twice during a race in Michigan last year. Franchitti miraculously escaped with nothing but cuts and bruises.

But Judd, who wed Franchitti in 2001, insists she "made peace" with the risks involved in his sport after driver Greg Moore died in a mid-race accident in 1999.

She says, "To me, that's (worrying about a serious crash) not how a partnership works. I made peace with whatever risk there is when Greg Moore passed away and haven't given it a second thought since. It is what it is and I choose not to live in fear."
