Jane Fonda has apologized for turning the air blue when she uttered the explicit 'c' word on breakfast show “Today.” The Oscar winner joined Eve Ensler on the show's sofa on Thursday to discuss the 10th anniversary of the playwright's Vagina Monologues-inspired V-Day when she stunned viewers by saying 'c***'.
But the 70-year-old insists she didn't mean to swear and accidental cursing is no big deal.
She explains, "The first time that I knew about The Vagina Monologues, I was asked to perform that particular monologue in Atlanta, and so I just happened to say the name of it. I didn't even think. I'm sorry if I offended anybody. I think it's pretty silly."
On Thursday's show, Fonda said, "I live in Georgia; I was asked to do a monologue called C**t and I said, 'I don't think so, I've got enough problems.'"
