Amy WinehouseAmy Winehouse was forced to cover up her tattoo of a topless woman for the Grammy Awards - after the inking was deemed inappropriate by the event's organizers.

The Back to Black hit-maker sang at Sunday's Los Angeles ceremony via satellite link-up from London, but awards officials thought her body art was too racy for an American prime-time audience and ordered the soul sensation to cover up the explicit pictures.

So the resourceful singer drew a make-shift bra onto the image on her right arm using black eyeliner - which she was able to wash straight off following her performance.

Winehouse scooped five awards at the event including Best New Artist and Song of the Year for her 2006 hit single Rehab.
