Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal's son Redmond has been arrested on drugs charges, just months after completing a spell in rehab. The 23-year-old's vehicle was pulled over by police in California at 3am on January 26 after the cops spotted him driving erratically. A search of his car allegedly unearthed drug paraphernalia.

A $10,000 bond was posted and Redmond was released, but he faces a custodial sentence because of previous drug charges stemming from an arrest three years ago.

In 2005, troubled Redmond, who has checked into rehab facilities 12 times in 10 years, escaped a jail sentence after pleading guilty to possession of methamphetamine and cocaine.

A source tells the National Enquirer, "Farrah has always dreaded getting that phone call: 'Your son's dead of an overdose.' She's done everything in her power to save him. Maybe jail is his only cure."
