'Supernatural' Keeps Getting Better & Better; Bela Needs To Go

In the latest episode of "Supernatural," Bobby (Jim Beaver) is poisoned by a "homicidal sandman" with a dream potion that makes Bobby lapse into a deadly coma where he relives his worst nightmare in his mind. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) learn that Bobby was hunting the death of Dr. Greggs, who died after he mysteriously slipped into a coma.
After Dean's interrogation goes nowhere with Jeremy (G. Michael Gray), they decide to get some outside help through Bela (Lauren Cohan). She helps them out because Bobby supposedly saved her in Flagstaff. Who knew Sam had it bad for Bela? After the dream he had about her, we learn deep down he's really attracted to her.
After taking the potion, the boys end up in Bobby's head, or should we say his house. Sam finds himself walking around outside having a confrontation, and Dean learns something really important about Bobby he never knew. Bobby was married. And he killed his wife. All we know is that his wife was possessed, and he had to kill her. That was when Bobby decided he would become a hunter.
The boys were able to save Bobby, but in order to stop Jeremy they need to get him while they're sleeping. So what does Dean dream about? Having a romantic picnic with his girlfriend Lisa before picking up their son Ben from baseball practice. Who would have thought - Dean has a soft spot.
Things got really good when Dean had a confrontation with himself. After all, he is his own worst nightmare. It was surprising to see that Dean felt so dead inside; he does a great job of hiding that. Not only is Dean angry about dying, but he also admits that he's so angry at his father for their mom's death after "demon Dean" tried putting the blame on Sam.
Well, well, looks like Bela only helped the boys out just so she could steal the colt from them. I'm starting to hope that the writers kill her character off. The only thing Bela is good at doing is causing a lot of unnecessary trouble for the boys.
Dean final admitting to Sam that he doesn't want to die and go to hell is a big step. Now that he has realized this, maybe he'll get off his butt and work with Sam to get him out of the deal.
For those still tuned in, at the end where Dean is talking with the black demon eyes and then snaps his fingers and the show shuts off to the credits was pretty cool. Not to sound completely biased, but the show really keeps getting better and better. It's a shame the writers' strike is causing the season to end prematurely.
