Officials at the Los Angeles County Coroner's office have ruled rapper Pimp C's December death was an accident. The UGK star, real name Chad Butler, died in his sleep in a Los Angeles hotel on December 13. He was 33.

Forensics experts concluded their investigation into his death on Monday, declaring Pimp C died as a result of a preexisting condition he had of sleep apnoea, combined with an accidental overdose of prescription codeine, according to TMZ.com.
