Australian singer Keith Urban flew almost 8,000 miles to Los Angeles to record a new track with Nelly Furtado. Urban was willing to clock up the air miles after the Maneater hit-maker personally asked him to appear on her new song.

He says, "It was a blast getting to sing on the track; it's a great song and hope it pans out." However Urban is now keen to stay in his native country to look after pregnant wife Nicole Kidman.

He adds, "I'm going to be doing quite a bit more songwriting and bringing some people down to Sydney actually."
