Lenny KravitzLenny Kravitz almost quit music for life in the Brazilian jungle after his last album failed to perform as well as he'd hoped. After spending two years promoting 2004's Baptism, Kravitz flew to Brazil to perform at the Rio De Janeiro leg of the Live Earth concerts in July 2007 and then took time out from his busy schedule to do some soul-searching.

Kravitz took enough clothes for a week, and stayed for four months, living on a remote farm.

And he admits he was tempted to stay for good. The 43-year-old says, "There was certainly the temptation to just stay gone. There was no stress, less time spent on decisions. And I reconnected with knowing that God gives you everything you need. But I came out of the jungle and I came back with a fresh outlook."
