Paul McCartney's estranged wife Heather Mills is to be questioned by British environmental officers over complaints of noise pollution at her recent birthday party.

The former glamor model - who is currently locked in a bitter divorce battle with the Beatles legend - invited dozens of guests to her 40th birthday celebrations, which were held in a marquee at her East Sussex, England, mansion earlier this month. However Mills' loud partying angered neighbors and prompted them to make official complaints to the local council.

An environmental health officer spokesman confirmed, "We received four complaints about noise from loud music and a generator."

Mills is planning on moving back to her former home in Brighton, England, after selling the nine-bedroom East Sussex property in a bid to pay her spiraling legal bills.
