Britney SpearsBasshunter's dance track Now You're Gone has held on to the number one spot in the U.K. singles chart for a second week. British newcomer Adele charted at number two with critically-acclaimed single Chasing Pavements, while Britney Spears' Piece Of Me dropped one place to three.

Lupe Fiasco's Superstar is at number four, while the top five is rounded off by Rihanna's Don't Stop The Music.

The U.K. album chart had a new number one entry with Scouting For Girls' eponymous release, with Amy MacDonald's debut moving into the number two spot.

Take That's Beautiful World is at three, while Newton Faulkner's Hand Built By Robots and Led Zeppelin star Robert Plant's collaboration with Alison Krauss, Raising Sand, are at four and five respectively.
