Actor Daniel Baldwin is celebrating after his wife Joanne Smith-Baldwin gave birth to a daughter on Thursday. The Mulholland Falls star and his model-turned-chef spouse welcomed Avis Ann Baldwin into the world at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center at 12:59am.

Avis weighed in at seven pounds and 10 ounces.

The actor, a recovering drug addict, met Brit Smith-Baldwin when she cooked his meals during his stint in rehab last year.

In a press statement, he jokes, "Thank God, she looks like her mother."

The baby is Baldwin's fourth child and Smith-Baldwin's first.
