Andy GarciaOcean's Thirteen star Andy Garcia is still devastated by the death of his niece's partner, top athlete Sean Taylor, who was shot and killed by burglars in November. Jaclyn Garcia and the couple's 18-month-old daughter were hiding in the family's Florida home when the Washington Redskins football star was gunned down.

And her famous uncle reveals his niece is still struggling to come to terms with the nightmare experience that turned her into a single mom overnight.

The actor says, "It was a senseless situation. Those kind of tragedies can happen on any given day in our society and just really hit close to home. Jackie is doing the best she can with a very difficult situation. I knew how my niece loved him and I knew how he was loved by his family."

Four men have been charged with Taylor's murder.
