American Idol judge Randy Jackson has called on famous pals like Mariah Carey and Joss Stone to help him turn a new album project into a big hit.
Carey and Stone will join Jackson's fellow Idol judge Paula Abdul and past show favorites Elliott Yamin and Katharine McPhee on tracks on the producer's new release, "Randy Jackson's Music Club, Vol. 1."
Country star Travis Tritt, soul men Rance Allen and Sam Moore and gospel great Bebe Winans will also perform on the album.
Jackson, who previously worked as Carey's musical director, says, "This was an opportunity to bring together an amazing roster of artists and make a kind of potpourri of all the things I love."
