Gwyneth Paltrow has been admitted to a hospital in New York. The Hollywood actress was taken to the city's Mount Sinai Hospital on Monday afternoon where she stayed overnight, but the details surrounding her visit have been shrouded in mystery.

A source tells Usmagazine.com, "She was slumped over in a wheelchair pushed by (her husband) Chris Martin.

"She looked not well."

But a representative for Paltrow has refused to address her reported illness, telling the publication: "We are not commenting as it's a personal matter."
