Patton Oswalt Slams David Cross
Stand-up comedians Patton Oswalt and David Cross are feuding over Cross' decision to take on a part Oswalt rejected in Alvin And The Chipmunks. King Of Queens star Oswalt was stunned when the Arrested Development actor accepted the role of Ian in the part-animated film - and accused him of selling out on an online blog.
But Cross responded, "I read Patton's snide comment... about how he... chucked the script in disgust only to have it hungrily intercepted from its intended trajectory into the incinerator by me... a sell-out."
Oswalt then replied, writing, "Let's go get dinner somewhere soon and laugh over a bottle of integrity vineyards Shiraz. Or let fate take us where it will and I promise we will look back fondly on this meaty mess from the set of Hungry Hippos The Movie."
