Rocker John Mayer has split up with his actress girlfriend Minka Kelly. The guitarist and Kelly, the star of TV show Friday Night Lights, began dating in September and separated over a month ago, reports website People.com.

Mayer - who has previously been linked to beauties including Mandy Moore and Cameron Diaz - and Kelly have remain good friends since the end of their romance.
