Kidman's spokesperson Catherine Olim says, "Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban confirmed today that they are expecting a baby. The couple are thrilled."

Speculation about Kidman's pregnancy intensified recently when the 40-year-old pulled out of director Stephen Daldry's post-World War II drama The Reader, which had been scheduled to start shooting later this month.
