Punk singer Henry Rollins prefers to be left alone, insisting the only company the needs is his own. The former Black Flag frontman, 46, is adamant that he isn't a recluse, but doesn't actively seek out companionship.

He says, "When I'm at home at weekends, my phone won't ring at all. I have very few friends, I never have had lots of people to hang out with and I'm comfortable with that."

"I just like to do things alone. I'm actually really comfortable with that. I don't dislike people, I actually really get on with people when I do decide to socialize, but I just like being alone."
