One Tree HillAs the days pass, anticipation for the season five premiere of One Tree Hill continues to grow among avid fans. Questions linger in the air over what the impending season will entail for the Tree Hill community. Among the usual cast of characters, a new set of fresh faces takes the stage. Read on for a peek into what OTH has in store for us!

This time around, "One Tree Hill" finally got its makeover. On the CW website executive producer Joe Davola says about the "Fast Forward: New Faces Episode," "It's basically [that] all the rules have changed. Our kids' looks have changed... we brought new characters in to sort of work within the fabric of the show." Instead of taking the show's storyline to college, producers chose to set season five four years post high school graduation.

Michaela McManusNew Face #1: Michaela McManus as Lindsey, Lucas Scott's book editor. After Lucas releases his first published book, Lindsey steps into the spotlight to encourage Lucas to hone his writing skills. She provides that extra push as Lucas struggles with 'writer's block' and other outside pressures.

New Face #2: Kate Voegele as Mia, an upcoming singer. Mia is revealed as a shy, reserved teenager with a dream of performing. Like Haley, it takes the encouragement from those around her to finally instill belief in herself. According to Sophia Bush on the CW website, "You look at her [Mia] and she just has this edge and this new glow to her as a person that makes you gravitate toward her, but she gets on camera and starts singing and you could just fall over; you love her immediately."

New Face #3: Kevin Federline as Jason, an egotistical aspiring rock star. This determined musician attempts to reach his goal in the music industry with his candid opinions and careless, rough attitude.

New Face #4: Daphne Zuniga as Victoria, Brooke's CEO for Clothes Over Bros. According to Zuniga, "Victoria is the CEO and mastermind and primary handler of a multi-million dollar fashion company." As season five unfolds, audience members will witness several exciting moments as stubborn Brooke battles a persistent and focused business manager with views that clash with many others.

New Face #5: Lisa Goldstein as Millicent, Brooke's assistant. A job many girls would kill for, Millicent lands the coveted position as Brooke Davis' assistant for Clothes Over Bros. She's quiet and diligent but at the same time seems to hide her true personality. According to Lee Norris, Millicent is "... this very cute girl who's kind of quirky and sort of gets dumped on because she is the assistant and she and Mouth are sort of kindred spirits because they've taken a lot of stuff from their bosses."

New Face #6: Kelly Lintz as Alice, Mouth's boss. Enter a direct and honest boss with a sharp tongue and cunning business mentality. Her new approach coupled with Mouth's sweetness will sure make for some interesting moments this season.

Torrey DeVittoNew Face #7: Joe Manganiello as Owen, a local bartender. Owen fits right into the Tree Hill bunch as he arrives into town with skeletons of his own in his closet. With a relatable appeal like that, you can be sure that girls will flock his way to listen ... or to get close.

New Face #8: Robbie Jones as Quentin, a new Ravens basketball player. This season, the Ravens basketball team, coached by former player Lucas Scott, welcomes in a new leading star to the team. According to Robbie Jones, "Quentin is an interesting guy. He's a very cocky, arrogant kind of character. He's basically NBA-bound in his own mind and nobody can tell him anything."

New Face #9: Torrey DeVitto as Carrie, the nanny for Nathan and Haley's son. It was bound to happen! Haley and Nathan hire an attractive and energetic nanny to look after their son, Jamie Scott.

Jackson BrundageNew Face #10: Jackson Brundage as Jamie Scott, Haley and Nathan's son. According to Mark Schwahn, creator and executive producer, "the pressure was on" to find the perfect actor to fit the role of Jamie Scott. According to Sophia Bush, "It's wild because the camera starts rolling and sometimes the things that come out of his mouth just melt your heart. I mean he can make you smile or he can break you in a sentence."

Looks like "One Tree Hill" fans are in for a treat this season! The old and new casts collaborate to add more excitement and drama to the show. Stay tuned for the season five two-hour premiere episode Jan. 8!
