Britney Spears has been accused of staging paparazzi pictures with her boyfriend Adnan Ghalib - in a bit to earn the pair thousands of dollars. The pair is reported to be setting up shots of themselves kissing and cuddling for waiting photographers - with the pictures thought to be worth up to $700,000 in the wake of her recent media coverage.

The 26-year-old was taken to Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Thursday following a stand-off with police when she refused to hand over her boys to ex-husband Kevin Federline after a scheduled visit to her Beverly Hills, California, mansion.

Spear began dating the British photographer last month, and has since missed a court-ordered deposition in her child custody case with ex-husband Kevin Federline to spend the day with Ghalib.

Spears is also alleged to have spent time with the paparazzo after leaving the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Saturday.
