Twisted SisterHair. It's a four letter word that made a big impact on bands during the 80s. During that time, Aqua Net super hold hairspray was a household name and big-bodied hair was the goal for some rockers. Bands such as Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, and Twisted Sister took big hair to a whole new level.

Short black locks and long blonde hair could only point to a band that doesn't follow the rules so well. Twisted Sister, fronted by Dee Snider, flaunted his thick, blond tresses during such anthems as, "We're not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock." Not only did he have big hair, his bandmates shared the same look. Snider and his outlandish make-up, outfits, and lyrics make Twisted Sister one of the greatest hair bands. These days Twisted Sister still has their flowing locks and even re-released their Stay Hungry album in 2007.
