British singer Robbie Williams is planning a huge musical comeback for 2008 - to rival the reunion success of his former Take That bandmates.

The Angels hit-maker - who recently ended his four-year recording deal with EMI - is reportedly so jealous of Take That's comeback success, he is planning a similar stunt.

A source tells British newspaper the Daily Star, "Robbie's watched Take That come back and be successful. Now's the time to show he is even better as a solo artist and has the success that they can only ever dream of."
