Paris Hilton's mother Kathy is selling off items belonging to stars like Mel Gibson and Tom Cruise in an effort to raise money for a children's charity.

Kathy Hilton has persuaded celebrities to donate their unwanted wares to an online auction benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which helps to grant terminally ill kids their biggest wish.

Among the lots up for sale on eBay.com include Gibson's worn and signed denim jeans, the Top Gun star's Ray-Ban sunglasses, talk-show host Johnny Carson's cufflinks, and a pair of tickets to socialite Paris' New Year's Eve celebrations at Las Vegas' Club LAX.
