Some boy bands dance and sing while others sing and play their own instruments. Whichever type of boy band you prefer, there definitely have been a number of first-rate and very popular ones to entertain us over the years.

One cannot mention the term 'boy band' without having the Backstreet Boys come to mind. Formed in 1992, the group gave us such danceable hits as 'Everybody (Backstreet's Back)' and other sultry tunes like 'Quit Playin' Games (With My Heart)' and 'I Want It That Way.' In October 2007 the group released their sixth album. While member Kevin Richardson may no longer be part group (after deciding to part ways in pursuit of other interests), true blue fans may still want to pick up "Unbreakable" to check out the latest Backstreet sound.
