R&B star Alicia Keys is among the stars who'll be feted at the inaugural Black Entertainment Television (BET) Honors next month. The No One singer will be honored for her achievements in entertainment at the ceremony, held to pay tribute to the contributions African-Americans have made in various fields.
Elsewhere, supermodel-turned-talk show host Tyra Banks will be recognised in the media category.
The first BET Honors, hosted by Cedric The Entertainer, will take place at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C. on January 12.
