Former Jane's Addiction star Eric Avery has gone solo with a little help from Garbage singer Shirley Manson.

The bass player's solo debut, "Help Wanted," will feature guest appearances by Manson, Red Hot Chili Peppers star Flea and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.

Avery will also write the soundtrack for Abel Ferrara's new documentary about New York's Chelsea Hotel.
