LOS ANGELES (AP) - Timothy Busfield's wife has filed for divorce after 19 years of marriage. Jennifer Busfield cited irreconcilable differences in court documents filed Monday. She is seeking joint legal custody of the couple's 16-year-old son, court papers said.

An after-hours e-mail message Tuesday to Busfield's agent wasn't immediately returned.

Busfield, 50, won an Emmy Award for his role on ''thirtysomething.'' His TV credits also include ''The West Wing'' and ''Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.''
