Tim RothTim Roth credits Francis Ford Coppola and fellow Brit Ray Winstone with dragging him out of acting retirement and back onto the big screen. The Pulp Fiction star walked away from his movie career after growing bored with acting.

But he returns in Coppola's new movie Youth Without Youth - after the director inspired him.

Roth tells the New York Daily News, "I'm interested in acting again. I lost my interest for a long time. I got bored. I'd spoken to Ray Winstone about it. It happened to him. He gave up acting years and years ago. He quit and went back to work in whatever he was doing. Then he got his buzz back. He swore to me I would too. And he was right. You just have to wait around long enough and then you'll get it back."
