Mary Elizabeth Winstead: 'Working With Willis Was Surreal'
December 5th, 2007 2:48pm EST Post a comment Add to My News
Actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead was so star-struck by her Live Free Or Die Hard co-star Bruce Willis, she was too nervous to speak to him on set.
The 23-year-old - who plays John McClane's daughter Lucy in the fourth installment of the film franchise - admits meeting the veteran actor was such a surreal experience; she struggled to overcome her shyness.
She says, "Our first big argument scene was on my first day on set. My first day and I had to yell at Bruce Willis. I was so intimidated - a feeling that, because of the size of the franchise and the stars, stayed with me throughout. I rarely opened my mouth outside of takes all movie."
