Lil' JonHip-hop star Lil' Jon is leading the tributes for the late Pimp C, hailing the fallen rapper as "a true king." The MC - real name Chad Butler - was found dead by paramedics on Tuesday morning, after answering an emergency call at the Mondrian Hotel on Los Angeles' Sunset Strip. The 33-year-old is thought to have died of natural causes.

Butler was one half of rap duo UGK - Underground Kingz - and is probably best remembered for the group's classic 1996 LP, Ridin' Dirty, and for their appearance on Jay-Z's hit single, Big Pimpin'.

Speaking to SOHH.com, Lil' Jon expressed his sorrow at Butler's passing, saying: "That was my n----r, good motherf---in' dude. Not many like him. Always kept it real and was a champion for the Southern rap movement. A true king! You will be missed brother. Love you man."
