Entourage star Kevin Connolly has denied reports he is dating Julianne Hough, insisting he "doesn't even know" her - despite enjoying a number of dinner dates with the Dancing With The Stars professional.

Connolly and Hough have been spotted out together on several occasions, and the actor was recently snapped buying diamond jewelry for the blonde beauty - but he insists rumors of a romance are hugely exaggerated.

He tells People.com, "I don't want to bore you, but really, we are just friends. We've gone out to dinner a few times, we've gone to a Halloween party, but I don't even know her. You meet people, you like them; you go out to dinner... People see you at dinner, they take pictures, and things get misconstrued."
