A little-known actress has been caught up in the middle of a messy sex scandal hoax with George Clooney and Tom Cruise.

An Internet hoaxer pretending to be Tiffany DuPont, 26, claimed she had "offered" herself to Clooney and Cruise and slept with both. But now the actress has hit back at the cruel lies.

DuPont, who had a small role in Hilary Duff's Cheaper By The Dozen film, has denied she wrote the online story that was picked up by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.

In a post on her website, the actress reveals she was the victim of an elaborate hoax.
