Buffy The Vampire Slayer star Charisma Carpenter has split from her husband of five years Damien Hardy. The 37-year-old actress married Hardy in October 2002 and the couple became parents to son Donovan Charles, now four, the following March.

However a spokesman has confirmed that the pair have broken up. Jeff Raymond, a representative for Carpenter, says, "They are separated and now living separately."
