star Billy Morris has been left stunned by the death of his friend and former bandmate Kevin DuBrow
because the Quiet Riot
frontman was one of the fittest people he knew. Morris, who briefly played guitar with Quiet Riot, insists he was "blown away" by the tragedy on Sunday.
He says, "No one would ever imagine this happening to Kevin, especially me, after knowing him for the past eight years. During our tours together, he would really take care of himself. He'd take his vitamins every day, and always kept his body and voice in check. One thing about Kevin was that he was always so thankful for what he had. The rock scene has lost an icon, an individual who brought it every night."
DuBrow, 52, was pronounced dead at his Las Vegas home after a neighbor called emergency services. The cause of death will be determined after an autopsy.
