Britney Spears' Gimme More video has been banned in France because it features unauthorised footage of Louis Vuitton material. The French fashion house has been awarded 80,000 euros ($117,300) after declaring the use of the brand in the promo was illegal.

A Paris tribunal has also ruled the Gimme More video van no longer play on MTV broadcasts in France.
