'Supernatural' Episode Recap: 'Fresh Blood'
He's back! Gordon returns to Supernatural, and he is stronger and more dangerous than ever. Gordon (Sterling K. Brown) escapes from jail and tracks down Bela (Lauren Cohan) to find out where Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) are. Of course, for a hefty price, she calls up Dean and lets Gordon know where he can find the boys. Good to know Bela is grateful that the guys saved her life in the last episode.
The brothers capture a female vampire named Lucy who doesn't understand how she became a vampire; all she knows is that a guy name Dixon gave her a drug at a club, and now she doesn't understand what is happening to her.
Gordon, who is after Sam because he still believes he is the anti-christ, gets turned into a vampire by Dixon and becomes unstoppable. When Gordon traps Sam and tells him that he is evil, Sam doesn't even try to deny it. Luckily Sam is able to stop Gordon by killing him with a razor wire. We're beginning to see a new side to Sam, but I'm starting to wonder where this new side to Sam is coming from.
Sam finally tells Dean to knock it off because he knows that Dean is scared about his deal and the fact that his one year is almost up. After all, who knows Dean better than his little brother. Sam looks up to him, and he wants Dean to drop the show and be his brother again. Has Sam finally knocked some sense into Dean? We'll soon find out.
There was a tender moment at the end of the episode when Dean tries to teach Sam how to fix his car. He wants Sam to know how to fix it for the future, and we all know what he means by that.
It's going to be interesting to see what the future holds for the Winchester brothers. That is if the writer's strike doesn't get in the way.
