American actress Emily Deschanel has dismissed reports she's dating actor/producer Michael Medico. Deschanel, the star of the TV series Bones, and Medico were spotted together at the Point Foundation Honors in Los Angeles on November 2nd, leading to speculation they are a couple.

However, Deschanel's representative says, "They are just friends." The Point Foundation provides financial support and mentoring to gay and lesbian students.
