Carrie UnderwoodCarrie Underwood, Brad Paisley and George Strait were named the queen and kings of country in NashvIlle, Tennessee on Wednesday night at the 41st annual CMA Awards.

Underwood claimed the Female Vocalist of the Year for a second successive year and Single of The Year ("Before He Cheats"), while Strait took home Song of The Year honors for "Give It Away," and he won his sixth Album of The Year prize for It Just Comes Natural. New dad Paisley was also a double winner, taking home Best Video and Male Vocalist awards.

The night's biggest prize, Entertainer of The Year, went to Kenny Chesney.

The highlight of the event came when former American Idol star Kellie Pickler broke down in tears during her touching performance of ballad "A Small Town Girl Made Good," which she co-wrote about her relationship with her estranged father. The moving performance earned her a standing ovation.
