Dennis Quaid and his wife Kimberly are celebrating after becoming parents to twins. Thomas Boone Quaid and Zoe Grace Quaid were born two minutes apart at a Santa Monica, California hospital on Thursday.

Thomas and Zoe weighed six pounds 12 ounces and five pounds nine ounces respectively.

The babies were carried by a surrogate mother, whose identity is unknown. A statement from the Quaids reads: "God has definitely blessed us."

Quaid, 53, already has a 17-year-old son with his ex-wife Meg Ryan.
