Assault charges filed against actress Kristy Swanson by her one-time love rival have been dropped. Swanson was arrested in Ontario, Canada in June after her boyfriend's ex-wife accused her of beating her in front of her kids.

Upon her release from police custody, the actress hit back, insisting she was the victim of an attack by her accuser, Marcia O'Brien.

O'Brien dropped her charges against Swanson, who is now dating her ex-husband, figure skater Lloyd Eisler, on Wednesday.
