Hollywood star Brad Pitt loves to be criticised by film journalists - because it makes him a better actor. Pitt was not upset when his movie The Assassination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford suffered a number of delays, insisting it gave him the opportunity to improve on his performance.

He tells Empire magazine, "All the stories that the film was a train wreck, I think, really helped us and worked in our favor. The movie is so much better than some people expect."
