Molly Shannon ("Saturday Night Live") will appear in a three-episode arc of ABC's critically acclaimed new series "Pushing Daisies." Filming begins this week.

Shannon will play Dilly Balsam, a competitor of Ned's (Lee Pace) who opens a rival sweets shop across the street from the Pie Hole. Writer/actor Michael White will play her brother, Billy Balsam.
