Former 'N Sync star Chris Kirkpatrick is delighted his ex-bandmate Lance Bass thought he was gay when they were in the boy band together. Bass, who 'came out' as a homosexual last year, recently revealed he once suspected 'N Sync stars Kirkpatrick and Justin Timberlake were gay.

And Kirkpatrick, who, like Timberlake, is a heterosexual, was ecstatic to hear the news.

He tells website People.com, "I think it's awesome that Lance thought I was gay while we were in the band together. He's been going through a lot after coming out, and we respect that and give him his space."
