David BeckhamSoccer star David Beckham is lining up his L.A. Galaxy teammates to take part in a charity football match - against actors Jason Statham, Anthony Lapaglia and Vinnie Jones. Beckham is teaming up with Jones' Hollywood United in an effort to raise some much-needed cash for the victims of the wildfires which swept through Malibu, California, last week.

A source says, "(L.A. Galaxy) wanted to do something to help after seeing the wildfires on the TV. The MLS (Major League Soccer) season has finished so they were free to play a match and all thought it would be a great idea to do one for charity. They wanted to assist as the fires are on their doorstep and there are lots of money-raising events and donations going on. David particularly wanted to help. He has been watching the fires on TV and was stunned at the devastation. He hopes they raise a lot of money for the victims."

The match between L.A. Galaxy and Hollywood United is set to take place at L.A.'s Home Depot Center on November 4th.
