'CSI' Star Defends Paparazzo Clash
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation star Gary Dourdan has again dismissed reports he got physical with a cameraman earlier this year, insisting he only reached out to stop the videographer from taking his picture. An unnamed photographer, who works for entertainment website TMZ.com, claimed Dourdan "slammed" him to the pavement and shoved him several times outside Los Angeles nightspot Hyde in July. Video footage of the incident shows Dourdan shouting, "Get that f&#%ing camera out of my face."
However, the actor insists he didn't punch the photographer.
He says, "Some people have hit paparazzi, which I never did. I just took his camera away. I don't mind the photographers, but the guys with the video cameras don't have any respect. The guy had been taping me for 35 minutes. I'm asking him to shut the camera off and he wouldn't do it no matter what I asked. Me losing my temper didn't help the matter."
