An arrest warrant has been issued for reggae star Beenie Man after he failed to turn up in court to answer tax evasion charges.
The singer - real name Anthony Moses Davis - was scheduled to appear in court in Jamaica on Monday to explain how he planned to pay 10 years worth of unpaid taxes.
Annoyed Judge Owen Parkins said, "This case is well-publicized and he should have been in court. No one is above the law."
Beenie Man owes the Jamaican revenue department $415,000 and a further $246,000 in penalties. He claims he was unaware he owed the money, and blamed his business managers for the slip-up.
