Carrie UnderwoodCarrie Underwood has revealed she and sportsman Tony Romo were doomed as a couple because he refused to put her above his first love, football. The Dallas Cowboys quarterback and the country singer briefly dated earlier this year, but the romance ended when Romo was criticized for paying too much attention to his personal affairs.

Underwood says, "He is about football... I don't think he's at the point in his life where he would be willing to sacrifice football. He hated so much that people thought he was paying more attention to me and that was causing him to not do so well."

But, despite the split, Underwood insists she's still cheering him on from the sidelines. She explains, "The Cowboys are still my favorite team."
